Authenticate each request
Create an API key in your Customer portal and send it in the apikey header. Keep keys on your server, outside source control. Requests use the /v1 path prefix.
Understand each response
Billable operations charge prepaid credits for each successful request at the operation's current price. Your OpenAPI document (GET /v1/openapi.json) and your API reference in the portal show each operation's current price in credits, with any free allowance, and the price list shows what every operation costs. Errors are never charged. List responses contain data, total, has_more and next_page_token. The pedigree guide explains the four family formats and their limits.
Try it on the sandbox
The sandbox serves fictional data with the same prices and credit rules as production, paid with free daily play credits, so you can build and test charging, retries and errors before you spend real credits. The Sandbox guide lists a demo request for every operation.
